I'm a Little Confused...

I understand that these aren't the issues that we should be concerned with, BUT, they seem to be what many are focused on. Maybe now we can get onto what truly matters!!!

Angie that's a great video. I'm tired of Republicans painting every Democratic nominee as un-American and unacceptable if they show any signs of intelligence or have a degree from a prestigious university.

“The times are too serious. The challenges are too great. The American people aren’t looking for someone who can divide this country – they’re looking for someone who will lead it.”

Jim... Turn your comments back on! I think we'll get a healthier conversation flowing on your blog site! I'm glad you thought the video was worthy of reposting! I think more folks need to see it!

Angie you can handle the traffic. Just put on your rain suit and goggles in case the mud starts flying. LOL

Hey Angie! I can't get the video to play, but managed to manually move through it and get the idea. Yeah, I'm confused, too. It's what I've been saying for months now about Obama.

Let's go ahead and vet Palin's secessionist links with the same vigor that McCain is applying to Ayers. And McCain's Keating vacation visits, too.

Here's some mud for you, hope you have on your goggles and raincoat:

"With the state our country is in, I'm personally quite tired of hearing smear campaigns..."

I suppose the truce of smear campaigns hasn't stopped yet. VN8

Well, I posted this 5 days ago in the heat of the mudslinging! I really had hoped it would help VN8! I guess I'm just a dreamer! Would it be so hard for you to admit that Obama has quite the lovely resume'?

Sue, I'm glad you were able to get the jest of this posting! It's great that you have such an open mind and have been willing to see each candidate for what they have to offer, then plan to vote accordingly!

Angie you're doing fine. Keep up the good blogging and writing. I like the color theme you are using on the blog. It looks nice.

Wow ... registered 150,000 voters??? Gee, that'd be ... uh, 50,000, three times each. Not bad! By the way, with all this hoopla about "community organization" ... uh, what exactly did we organize? Sorry about my math and reading comprehension skills, but hey, I attended a buncha schools before Uncle Sugar bought me my degree. When you're comparing pedigrees, don't forget the free ride vs. paying your own way argument.

Uh, how much moose meat must a burger contain in order to be legally labeled a mooseburger? Do they have the same standard for bison burgers, I wonder? Is there any moose meat in poi? Does Obama know what poi is? Do they have poi in Chicago?

It's the public who thinks Obama is a moslem ... McCain/Palin never said a thing about that. This vid looks to me like a self-inflicted wound for Osama. Oops. Obama. Crap, I can't tell anymore. Too much dang smearing goin' on!

I'm sick and tired of hearing Republicans smear Obama by falsely implying he's some sort of Muslim and that he's a terrorist by calling him Osama. It's outrageous and nothing but a damn lie!

Of all the smear campaigns, the Osama "mistake" pisses me off the most!

They planted the seed; the seed made just about every news station in our Country; and now, they're sitting back watching the seed grow!

I'm not saying the McCain campaign had anything to do with this, but some Republican(s) did!

While we're on the subject, referring to Obama as "BO" is also a little shameful! =)

Angie thanks for pointing that out. You and I never refer to John McCain as JM. It's as if they can't bring themselves to utter the name of a Democrat. They do it with Clinton WJM, Hillary HRC, Obama BO. Now I'm sure they will say it's just an abbreviation to save time but again I only see Republicans doing it. And, they love to talk about the Democrat instead of the Democratic party. We don't go around calling the Republican party the Republic party. LOL

That "Osama" crack was unwarranted, Jim ... but it's so easy to hit the wrong key!

I get wrapped around this axle that is Obama-Ayres and I think firebombs and violence and cheating at voter registrations, if not the elections themselves.

The best they can do to smear McCain (who is not necessarily my man, either) is the crack about "mooseburgers"?

What's wrong with the picture? What am I missing?

But the times ARE serious. Everybody who comments on these blogs knows that. It's gonna take more than a handful of us with true issues in mind before we start closing that curtain!

*looking* at my keyboard..
B & S aren't even hit with the same finger!

Keystroke error? No

Proof reader error (all three of them)? No

Intentional? Without a doubt!

We already *have* someone to divide this country! They've been at it for 50+ years. It's not so much about putting McCain *in* office as it is keeping a very dangerous man *out* of office. We are at each others' throats because the media keeps the pot stirred. If BO is gonna "lead" this country, he's gonna need the support of people who trust him. Lots of people don't, and there are many real reasons for such distrust.
