Feel free to copy this and post it as one of your blogs.. I shall be deleting it here shortly (or maybe not)! =)
'Twas the night before elections
And all through the town
Tempers were flaring
Emotions all up and down!
I, in my bathrobe
With a cat in my lap
Had cut off the TV
Tired of political crap.
When all of a sudden
There arose such a noise
I peered out of my window
Saw Obama and his boys
They had come for my wallet
They wanted my pay
To give to the others
Who had not worked a day!
He snatched up my money
And quick as a wink
Jumped back on his bandwagon
As I gagged from the stink
He then rallied his henchmen
Who were pulling his cart
I could tell they were out
To tear my country apart!
' On Fannie, on Freddie,
On Biden and Ayers!
On Acorn, On Pelosi'
He screamed at the pairs!
They took off for his cause
And as he flew out of sight
I heard him laugh at the nation
Who wouldn't stand up and fight!
So I leave you to think
On this one final note-
IF YOU DONT WANT SOCIALISM
GET OUT AND VOTE!!!!

Angie it's sweet of you to post this to soothe the paranoid right wingers! LOL You are always thinking of others. But you know, they think you're a socialist for thinking of anyone but yourself and not supporting the virtues of selfishness! LOL
Jim, this is my second Right-Wing "gift".. yet no one (thus far) has taken me up on my generosity! *sigh*
I plan to continue with these random acts of kindness as I know of no other way to be!! *smile*
Here's a big ol'socialist hug for ya Jim!
Socialist - Angie - No Way
Here's a big ol' kinder more gentler hug for ya.
It's the standard line from heterosexual encounter: "I'd rather be incompetent than lied to."
While Jim's backhanded compliment to SP had just enough sarcasm in it to be identifiable, these posts of yours contain none. If I didn't comment before, Angie, I appreciate that. In each case, however, you don't truly feel this way, which immediately makes the comment sound condescending. Paranoia is a psychosis, Jim. Being afraid of events as they unfold before us has solid base. That is the difference between the two. Fear is common to both rational people and LWNJs
As for who is the more generous? Teaching fishing has always paid manyfold over simply doling out a fish at a time. Empowerment is always preferred to barely maintaining the status quo. Even as I write this, it is working in Iraq. Until, that is, Obamanoids pull the plug. I think those of us who see positive empowerment, jobs and education for those who would pursue them, and national pride for all, are some pretty selfless goals. Or don't you see this that way?
Either way, our Constitution is set up to support and empower excellence. It doesn't allow very much for a big-brother government where everyone, regardless of talent, supports the politburo who then decides how to pay each worker. Not in THIS Constitution. Perhaps in the Obama re-write, but not now. There are those who vow, not EVER.
Oh Martha.. I'd give you a big ol hug regardless of the adjective we choose to place in front of, or behind, it!!!
((((((((Martha))))))))
*smile*
Solie, does this mean you didn't like the rhyme? *tilt*
naa .. actually, I liked the rhyme, especially if it was original and not copied from someplace!! ;-)
It was copied.. I wouldn't have written that silly!! lol
well, crud! (puppy eyes, head down, kicking dirt)
LOL, I know that look! Heck, I think I even perfected it!
Speaking of that "look"... I have it today! =( My air conditioner blew yesterday! It's like 85 degrees in the house, we're miserable! I wish I were an air conditioner repair person!
